According to rediff.com, the electricity supply to the CMs house was recently cut for non-payment of 1.20 lakhs. While i am happy to see due-collection not spare even the Chief Minister (CM), its a shame that CMs own bills are not paid.
Kudos to MSEB (Maharastra State Electricity Board) for the strict action. It will go a long way to show that we are all equal. And thumb down to the PWD (Public Works Dept. that maintains the meters on the CMs house) for not doing their house-keeping properly.
With 45 lakhs still pending recovery, this step gives us a ray of hope.
