Interesting Reading: The man who tried to kill Hitler

I came across this interesting article on the life of Col. Claus von Stauffenberg ("To kill the Fuhrer" - Timesonline.com, Dt. 24th Aug 2007), the Nazi army officer who was executed in 1944 for an attempt on Hitlers life. This episode is famous in history as the "July 20 plot".

His son Berthold talks about his father, his own opinions at the time and his experience of the time in Germany when Hitler was the promising one.

For the film buffs, Herr Stauffenberg is to be portrayed by Tom cruise in an upcoming movie. One will remember that there was some controversy on this topic. Bertholds reaction? "I heard he is quite small".
