Andhra reserves jobs based on religion

Andhra Pradesh became India's first state to have passed a law to reserve jobs on the basis of religion. Here's BBCs news article on the same. Personally, i think this is shameful that when the India is moving ahead a state like Andhra chooses to take a step backward.
