Happy Birthday: Louis braille

The initially strange-looking google doodle (the one on the right) told me that it was the birthday of a very unique man - Louis Braille.

A trip down wikipedia told me quite a bit about him. In case you dont know already, he is the inventor of Braille character set. It lets the blind (people without sight) read and write - something i feel is really special. A frenchman by birth, Louis lost his vision completely by the age of 4.

My hats off to this unique personality and a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to him!
